When you contact the salon by phone text email or through our website you may give us your details such as:

Before we perform a beauty treatment on you we will fill in a record card this contains personal information such as:
Name Address Date of birth Contact telephone numbers E mail address Occupation Doctors details, relevant medical history and medication taken Details of any allergies or previous reactions to beauty treatments
Under 16,s need parent`s permission before providing us with personal data
We also need to check these details are up to date and accurate on a regular basis.
The Beauty Spot staff are trained in data security. Any non essential paperwork is destroyed routinely and records are kept in secure locked cabinets.
The law says we must have a proper reason to use and share your information, these reasons are:
- Contract - we process your personal information to fulfil a contractual arrangement eg to provide a beauty treatment
- Consent - where you agree to us using your information in this way eg medical history certain medications can effect reactions to beauty treatments and certain medical conditions can contraindicate them
- Legitimate interests-this means the interests of The Beauty Spot in managing our business to provide you with the best products and services eg to inform you that an appointment has become available
- Legal obligation-where there is a legal requirement to share your information eg with our insurance company
